College, Career, and Military Readiness

A recent study by the Search Institute found that only one-in-five at-risk youth could identify one trusted, caring adult in their lives. At its core, CISGTC exists to provide that trusted, caring adult to children who would otherwise not have one.

CCMR

Our College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) program works with juniors and seniors in the CIS program to help prepare and plan for their next steps after graduation. CCMR specialists provide students with opportunities to get hands-on experience in their field of interest, connect with community leaders across various professional fields, guide them through college applications, and prepare for their future as leaders and difference makers.

We currently provide CCMR services to students in three districts throughout the greater Tarrant County area.
