Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. In 30 years, Communities In Schools of Greater Tarrant County has grown from serving 200 students in two Fort Worth schools to serving more than 35,000 students in 71 schools across 11 school districts.

Beverly Price

Hi! My name is Beverly Price and I am the CIS Program Manager at Mound Elementary. I am a licensed social worker and received my degree from University of Texas at Arlington. My favorite thing about working with students is helping to support and advocate advicehandyhülle bedruckenmous phone case for them in their daily needs. I enjoy getting to know students and building a strong supportive relationship throughout the school year. As the new school year begins I am the most excited about connecting with students again through lunch groups and supporting them while at school. I have a chiweenie poodle mix named Izze and my favorite snacks are almonds, snickers, sour patch kids, and popcorn. I can’t wait to meet you and your family!

Mental Health

Licensed Clinical Social Workers provide clinical services to address the mental health needs of students through one-on-one counseling inside schools. CIS Mental Health Supports eliminates any financial, transportation, or distance barrier that exists.
