Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. In 30 years, Communities In Schools of Greater Tarrant County has grown from serving 200 students in two Fort Worth schools to serving more than 35,000 students in 71 schools across 11 school districts.

Hi! My name is Sarah Medina-Coronilla and I am the CIS Program Manager at KEYS High School . I am a licensed social worker and received my degree from University of Texas in Arlington. My favorite thing about working with students is building strong relationships with them and families. I am most looking forward to watching my students grow with confidence and capability to achieve the impossible. I have German Shepard Mix- Romeo and my favorite snack is Lays Lemon Chips. I can’t wait to meet you and your family!

Mental Health

Licensed Clinical Social Workers provide clinical services to address the mental health needs of students through one-on-one counseling inside schools. CIS Mental Health Supports eliminates any financial, transportation, or distance barrier that exists.
